not boasting or anything but i am the chairman of St. Andrews School P.A. team

my story...
While many in the school think that our P.A. team is a very 'slack' CCA, I beg to differ. We may appear as a stereotypical group of boys, playful at times but we are serious when it comes to work. We execute our duties when required with pried and enthusiasm. The bulk of our work comprises our everyday duties and training programmes. The experience of our training sessions will be deeply etched in because that is the time when we mingle with one another, getting to know one another better. Though we do have constant trainings held by the seniors, nothing can be compared to the trainings that we have, conducted by Shamir, an old boy of
St. Andrews School. Be it the juniors or seniors, we owe all our knowledge to this patient and encouraging leader to spur us on.
The recreational event that we will never forget would be our P.A. training camp held in 2005. During the camp, eternal friendships were forged through our activities like our own Amazing Race, Night Warfare and last but not least, our mini buffet at the end of it all. It might sound like all we had was just fun but we actually had some serious training and lectures.
As the chairman of the P.A. team, I feel very privileged and honoured to lead such a dedicated and hard-working team. Though frictions do occur among us, these clashes bind us closer together. Without the constant source of encouragement from Shamir, our current P.A. teacher Mrs. Julia Huang and not forgetting our ex-teacher, Mr. Chan You Meng, I dont think i will have the cofidence to lead the team on.
30 years down the road, i would like the P.A. team to be a professional and well-disciplined team. Though our P.A. team is small in number, we can definitely say that this CCA has brought many of us together and I think this is the most important factor of all.

just a introduction... my most trustble friends are Esvaran, Alwin, Elliot and Suria... no one else...

brief history:
Esvaran was in the same calss as me when i was in Pri 3
Alwin used to be TAF club with me and we constantly fought
Elliot and Suria, i got to know them in Sec 1

i got to kmow this group of good friends in Sec 1
we carried on by joining the same CCA, we were in the same class in Sec 1&2 etc.

than the disaster came...
in Sec 3, there were some misunderstandings among us and the rest and i ignored each other for almost 2 months... you dont know how sad i was than...
but as time passed, things cleared up and now, we cant be closer enough than now... we even go for the same tuition toghther, go for camps etc. and we are sure to stand up for one another in times of need...

I REALLY WISH TO BE ALL OF YOUR GOOD FRIENDS TOO, AND MY ONLY WISH IS FOR ME TO GO TO YOUR HOUSES...

THE LAST THING I WANT IS FOR MY FRIENDS TO BETRAY ME...

the 5th-6th of september 2006 was one of the happiest days of my life. i went on a 2D 1N camp at Pulau Ubin with my best friends... although it was just a short trip, we enjoyed ourselves thouroughly. i went straight down to Ubin after my grade 6 piano exam that day and i joined my friends at 1pm. my bag was one of the biggest there and i felt really sorry because alwin had to carry my bag for me on his bicycle.
though the living conditions there wasnt exactly excellent, the fun times i spent with my friends paid it off! we went cycling for approximately 3.5 hours and our butts were sore as a result. we went back to our bunk at about 8, watched

TV and set off again at about 9. This was when the fun began... aaron and alwin brought some sparklers and so we went out of the bunk about 400 meters away and when ahead, lighting the sparkler. Than we wanted more thrill... so we decided to bring along some clothes to burn and brought along deodarant which is highly flammable. the fire was kinda huge and we were surrounded in thick smoke and after that, we noticed we were in trouble with the amount of vandalism that we had caused, so we hurriedly went back to the bunk... On the way back, i slipped and fell and something sharped pierced into my hand... i walked back with a bleeding hand

although there were many creepy crawlies, we were too tired to even care about being infested with them... we set of early the next day, had a good breakfast at Changi village and headed straight for lan after that... after that, it went back to my old and boring lifestyle again...

PLS DON"T LEAVE ME OUT ON YOUR NEXT PULAU UBIN TRIP... THANKS!!!
